Grrr

Hmmm

Dunno if the demo will be done on sunday, but I'll try. The reason being that before, I hadn't decided on a story yet, but today I finally settled on something pretty good. However, the story also brings with it some H mechanics that are mixed in with how you get some spells, so I have a couple more things I need to do than I did before.

The biggest hurdle will be deciding how the story, and by extension, the demo, should start. I don't really want to release anything without the context of the story laid out, at the very least 

To give you a breakdown, here's what I need to finish by the end of sunday if I want to release an ideal first look,

-Design 2 key characters.
-Create mughots with emotions for both, animate sprites for cutscenes,
-Put in save system from previous games.
-Menus
-H animations for around 4 3 enemies.
-H animation and encounter cutscene for 1 npc. Two outcomes.
-Program and animate knockdown for the main character
-Fill in missing sounds
-Compose a song
-Create an entire intro sequence, and all that entails.  
-Program the new H mechanic I mentioned.

So, three days to do that...

...If I can pull this off it'll be pretty apparent when I'm slacking off in the future -__-

  2. I'm curious if what you're suggesting here means that there will be mandatory sex scenes (at least to get the spells). Generally that's something I don't recommend if you're trying to appeal to more then one fetish with the game, though if the scenes are short enough and sufficiently vanilla it isn't too big of a problem.

  5. Mate, all that stuff would take most other solo developers a month to do :p. I don't think we mind seeing the deadline being pushed a bit, so try to make something you're satisfied with rather than releasing something and then regretting it ;).
    That being said, if you manage to pull that off, you have my greatest respect.

  11. Yeah... Don't even bring that up. We all know it's a lot of work and it's not going to happen. Just skip the demo and keep working on the game. I think it's better like that.

    1. Don't say that. Everyone is waiting for the demo! Kyrieru needs goals to work toward anyway, I think. It's hard to stay on track without deadlines.
