I think next time I'm going to try a lower resolution, so I can try doing animation with more unique frames, as opposed to this style. This one was a little rough around the edges.
In my opinion, doing this type of animations instead of CG is a good idea. Since everything is "pixel art" in Noaika, this will keep a certain "unity" in the game design/graphism.
I highly support this instead of CGs. I like your CGs, but this is cool.
Also, have you considered doing this kind of style of art in game, as a sort of "What's Happening Right Now" indicator, and just making the male sprite a generic sprite? Sort of like a Violated Heroine standee style, or like Princess Sacrifice.

This is great stuff, but each animation is only hyping me for NoAika more and more, I'll turn insane under a month.
