Possibly some co-op options if you want to get really deep into it. You could make an H and non-H version to sell on android and iOS app stores. Whether it's plot or a higher resolution to better show expressions, so long as you challenge those fields, the results should be awesome.

I also agree with the others suggesting Kuro as a cameo in other games. It's a chance to develop her and her universe, generating interest until it's time to go back to it. Though not necessarily like Zero... If you're going with #3, imagine turning her into one of her own weapons (sci-fi knuckles, gun, or some combo). Too many dev's lose interest or make one game then just kinda quit. You need a solid base to show your not flaky. Once you've made a couple arcade/NES/SNES style H-games then you can branch off, but you need to have a base that consists of more than a one-hit-wonder.

You should really run with what made kurovadis such a success, cheap, simple, fun, and quite challenging with an effective overall game design that harkens back to some of my favorite old games. If you wanted to be more ambitious I would look at larger maps and level design and I wouldn't up the graphics too much. It's better to fap to but the more time you spend on sprites the less chance I'll get a Super Metroid, which I would literally kill to have in the H-game industry.

My advice, if it ain't broke don't fix it. "Kuro&q...I for one wouldn't mind a sequel. "Kuro" and the world she lives in intrigues me, and I would love to see some new faces join her in the "jump here, shoot him, don't get raped by that" gameplay. Multiple characters is a big plus for me. Be it just a single character goes through the game, two characters at once (One as leader, the other as partner), or all three ( One is out on the field at a time, and can switch on the fly with the two others should she run low on HP), multiple characters gameplay done the right way breeds replayability, which in turn gives us more bang for our buck and you getting a lot of bucks. :)

The most important thing I ask though, is to put more story into the universe. In the first game I kept wondering to myself,"What is this place? Who is this girl I'm controlling? Why was she sealed up? Why are all the enemies in here trying to rape her senseless?"

If I'm left to wonder what exactly is going on with little to no way to figure out all I need to know, why should I care if the character I'm controlling meets a bad cum-filled end?

Anyways, those are my meager suggestions and vote for a Kurosequel. I look forward to what will happen here with you :)Ren Vortexnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7150748600895135243.post-55985094739770545042012-09-06T22:05:47.960-03:002012-09-06T22:05:47.960-03:00I think you could simplify your options to two:
M...I think you could simplify your options to two:

Make a sequel to Kurovadis.

Make a new quick game that incorporates experiments from #2-4. Go nuts. Then by design take away or/and add elements for the final game.

I think the latter would be great for you because from what I see of your blog so far you seem to have a lot of ideas you'd like to do so I think a small project to go nuts would be an ideal way for you to 'vent' and possibly have fun. The smaller dev time would mean the project would be relatively safer yet at the same time creatively ambitious.

If anything maybe you could take a similar mentality of 'whatever works right now' with your current project and leave all the crazier stuff for the third experimental game...

Btw did you know that Shigero Miyamoto/the Nintendo guys made the first level in a game last or later in development?Anonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7150748600895135243.post-92049398270959871552012-09-05T17:10:07.170-03:002012-09-05T17:10:07.170-03:00Love the idea of a new Kurovadis.
